| The
Covington Police Department, located at 1 S. High Street,
Covington, Ohio, is a full service, twenty-four hour Police
organization that is dedicated to upholding the law and
providing a secure environment for the businesses and citizens
of the Village of Covington.
The Department consists of five full-time, and five sworn
auxiliary officers. The Department is well equipped and
trained, and has access to resources to handle any type
of emergency. The Department handles patrol, investigations,
bike patrol, security for community events, and education
for the community.
The Department is under the supervision of Chief Lee Harmon,
a long-time Covington Police Officer and resident. Chief
Harmon strongly encourages an "Open Door" to the
community, and welcomes anyone who has a concern or a compliment
regarding the Officers, the Department, or the Community
of Covington. Chief Harman can be reached by stopping by
the Covington Village Hall Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M.
until 4:00 P.M., excluding holidays, or anytime by appointment.
